This website blocked by authority of Protect IP Act
Don't worry, the information isn't actually blocked.
But it could be in the future.
Under PIPA (Protect Intellectual Propery Act)
and SOPA (Stop Online Piracy Act), two bills being seriously considered
in the United States, websites which contain or link to copyrighted material
can be indefinitely blocked without trial or notice.
The unfortunate thing is, the bills wouldn't even accomplish what they set out
to do. You could still get to PirateBay or whatever by using their IP address.
All SOPA or PIPA would do is put censorship power in the hands of a few.
And why? Because they're the one forking out the big lobbying bucks.
Let your elected representatives know, as clearly as possible, that
censoring the internet is something you do not and will not support.
Congressmen care about getting reelected. If everyone reading this does their part,
these bills will be killed for good.
It is my hope that we, together as a community, can help make sure the
information on the internet remains free and uncensored. The U.S. Senate will begin voting on January 24th. Please let them know how you feel.
